Our spectacular leader Clairesy, a true visionary, founded the team two whole decades ago when we were all still young, bright-eyed, and relatively inexperienced in the world of netball. Over the years, she has expertly led our fabulous team with a delightful mix of humour and unwavering honesty, creating a supportive environment for everyone. When she's not dazzling on the netball court, you'll find her undertaking ridiculously long hill runs that seem to stretch into eternity or passionately walking her beloved dogs through beautiful parks.

Our wonderful team doctor, Ju, spends a staggering half of her life dedicated to the sport of netball. Whether she is energetically running her massively oversized feet around a bustling netball court or confidently umpiring from the sidelines, there is absolutely no questioning her unwavering dedication and passion for the game. Life is undeniably busy outside of netball as well, as she expertly juggles the demands of running after four lively children while simultaneously living up to her stellar reputation as one of the top 3% in the incredibly competitive world of medicine.

Expert at going on the attack, whether it's charging at the ball or playfully (but strategically!) contesting the players for their all-important subs, Sam is highly competitive, although she will fiercely deny it with a grin. One of the original members of our crew, Sam is as lightning-fast as ever—her energy infectious—thanks to her pre-game ritual of devouring a bag of sweets, which truly fuels her unquenchable desire to win.

One of the original team members, Big Lor, took a few years of well-deserved break when she relocated to the sunny paradise of Bermuda. However, the irresistible pull of the Diamonds eventually drew her back home. As our resident Defender, she cleverly utilizes her impressive height and unusually large hands to skillfully reach even the trickiest of rebounds, making her an invaluable asset on the court.

Little Lor has truly grown up with the fantastic team, and it left us all in a state of delightful shock when she recently revealed her latest milestone birthday. It’s hard to believe how the years have flown by! Despite this, Lor will always remind ‘little’ to us, no matter how many candles she may blow out on her cake.

Words can’t quite capture the electrifying energy radiating from this remarkable Diamonds player. Whether she’s strutting her stuff on the court or charming everyone off it, Ray is a vibrant character that simply cannot be overlooked. A true good all-rounder, Ray showcases her skills in almost every position, although her long passes do tend to be as wildly unpredictable as her exuberant personality.
