INTRODUCING WALKING NETBALL

If you used to play netball but had to retire due to a frustrating injury, or perhaps your current level of fitness prevents you from having the confidence to join in an hour of intense game play, then Walking Netball is the perfect option for you. It offers all the excitement and competitiveness of the UK’s number one sport for women, but with the unique modification that there is no running involved—just walking. This allows individuals to fully enjoy the game alongside people who might face similar limitations.

Our dedicated coaches are qualified to deliver Walking Netball after completing a comprehensive training program with England Netball. With this qualification, we initiated sessions within our local community of (East) Staffordshire. To our delight, we soon discovered that many players rekindled their love for the sport or even found a new passion entirely.

Participants expressed enjoyment in the fitness, fun, and social interactions that Walking Netball can provide. Within just a few months of our engaging hour-long sessions, which are based around entertaining netball games, skill drills, and enjoyable court play, players experienced noticeable increases in their fitness levels, improved mobility, and positive mental health benefits.
